Signing Day in Bangkok, Thailand

Today marks a big step for us ASEAN artists, it is Signing Day. We are going to Bangkok to meet with all our Artists who are joining us in bridging the worlds of Arts and Cultures.

We started our journey at a local famous sweets shop in Bang Saen, Chonburi. This sweets called  "Khao Laam" is made with a mixture of rice, coconut milk and sugar - all baked in a bamboo tube using coconut husks as the main source of fuel. Keeping up with the traditional way of creating the sweets makes this shop the most popular. Ian could not resist and bought some extra sweets for himself.

After everything for this trip is packed, we head to Bangkok via Burapha Vithi Expressway (or Bangna Expressway). Once we arrive in Bang Na area, we parked the car in a secure location and continued the journey via taxi to meet up with the Artists.

The signing session was smooth and perfect! We previously met with all the artists prior to this day and explained our concepts, our approach and allowed them time to develop the concepts for their upcoming Original Painting Collection. Our goal has always been NOT to direct nor specify any methods or concepts to our artists. We take pride in translating our artists' stories exactly the way the artist intended.

"Southeast Asia tells a story of Ancient Life and Exotic Environments. The 1st world kid inside of me is fascinated with the 3rd world stories that these Artists have to tell."
